WRINKLES Series

This mixed media drawing is a playful reflection on wrinkles, the process of aging and the high value our culture places on youth.

To create them, magazine pictures of beautiful models were literally wrinkled, collaged and combined with wrinkled textures, other images like a caterpillar (oruga), because in Spanish it rhymes with wrinkle and wart: arruga, oruga, verruga… and typography that was used as the title of each piece of the series.
