I think that Art must... I know, it's controversial, but anyway, here we go:

- Be aesthetically pleasing.

-Be an expression of the present time.

-Take into account what has been done before.

-Be fun / interesting.

-Have a concept behind.

-Have a relation to the chosen technique.

-Be of the best possible quality in craftsmanship and materials,

-Be durable.

Must works that comprise this portfolio had their origin on art studies started in maturity for a period of 15 years in different countries or South America.

My purpose as an artist has evolved in diverse environments and artistic approaches, acquiring solidity and coherence with myself and my world view.

The choice of technique, dimensions and approach to each artwork depends on the concept and the best way to express it so the viewer can enjoy it, think about the proposed topic or, some times, have fun.

MY THOUGHTS ON ART

These notions are my informed and personal opinion, after an ongoing research/artwork started on 2006 as a memory aid for Art Theory titled Magnificent Theorists.

Up until now, it counts 260 entries about what Art is according to thinkers and philosophers from Antiquity to our time.
